After a mild autumn, most of the leaves have fallen off the vines as they prepare to sit out the winter. A few more fell over in the recent high winds but no major damage. Remarkably the electric fence has only needed one charge since I installed it so the solar panel seems to be doing a job. Next task is to calculate the amount of wire I need for the trellising and decide which system to use – Scott Henry or guyot. Got the winter to think about it though.
